Our editors will review your book and we will publish the review in Righter Magazine. We will provide a hard copy of the review for your files. Cost for this service is $50.00. Mail us a copy your book with a $50.00 check or use your credit card below.

Our goal is to assist aspiring writers get their books into print.
Righter books now accepts manuscripts for publication. We do not publish your book at our expense. We will publish your book for our out-of-pocket cost plus 20%. This includes listing in Books in Print, wholesaler's catalogs, the Library of Congress listing. As a part of the service, we provide the final edit, format your book for the printer, upload the contents and cover electronically. We also offer your book for sale through our homepage and list it on amazon.com.
Your book will be available in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Ingram Books and BookSurge are our wholesale distributors in the United States and Bertram Books in the United Kingdom. Any bookstore can order your book through our wholesale distributors.
We use Print-on-Demand technology (POD) which means a print run can be as large as you need or as small as a single book shipped to a bookstore.
Righter will design your cover or you can furnish a cover illustration or photograph for your cover.
Your costs to publish a typical paperback book with us would be in the $500.00 range plus the number of copies you want for your use and sales. Copies of your book would be available to you at the wholesale rate which is generally one third of the retail price.
Your book will be available any bookseller.
eBook versions are available and sold through Ingram, Mobipocket and other eBook distributors.

How much do you charge to design a book cover? $100.00 for the standard in-house cover.
How much would a professionally designed cover cost? $1000.00 up.
We design covers for books not published by Righter. The cost is $100.00 up, depending on the complexity of your cover.
How much would a 200 page paperback book cost per copy? $4.68 plus shipping costs.
How much time elapses between your receipt of the finished manuscript and cover and the delivery of the proof copy of the book? Approximately ten business days.
Will I get royalties? The author receives 15% of the gross revenue from your book.
How often are they paid? Royalties are paid quarterly.
Can I have copies of my book shipped directly to me? Yes.
Can I market my book? You are encouraged to generate sales of your book. Your proceeds per book will be about four times greater for books you buy from us and sell at the retail rate.
If I want a large number of books, will they be discounted? Significant discounts are available for orders of 2,000 and 10,000 or more copies.
Suppose I want thousands of copies of my book? Our printers can produce any number of copies of your book that you require.
Do you offer editorial services? Yes.
How should I submit my book? All submissions must be in MSWord and sent as an email attachment or mailed on a diskette or CD.
What if my book is hand-written? We have editors who will type your book into MSWord..
Can you insert photographs in my book? Yes.
Can you publish books in color? Yes.
Can you do hardback and cloth covers with a jacket? Yes.
Who owns the rights to my book? You do. But our agreement grants us exclusive rights to publish and market your book for the duration of the contract.
Will I have a say in what services you perform at my expense? All costs incurred on your behalf must have your written approval.
Will I get a written cost estimate? Yes.
Suppose I find errors in the proof copy? You can make changes in your book at anytime to any degree. A second interior upload costs $48.00. Extra charges apply if the page count changes enough to require a different spine width. |
